Isn't it just incredible when you meet those women who just seem to be able to do everything with such grace and light? I always call these type of women "angel women" because they are so astounding and amazing to behold. Such is the case when I met Stephanie Karr through my work at Web2Market. Stephanie was in search of a Christian company that could partner together to bring her website to the next level. Her website is the home of her creation named Iam the Lamb, a super cute little character that appears in books, as a plush toy, and a nightlight to help families find, keep, and grow their faith together.

Like all angel women, Stephanie is totally unaware that she is and just throws out her background in passing as in "oh right, I got my PharmD in toxicology" and "oh right, my husband and I met during the summer and had Christianity in common from the start so we became friends, dated long-distance, and then got married and have stayed married for a few decades" which is only followed by the blessings of two daughters in a row and then the icing on top-a set of identical twin boys. It is not that Stephanie is unaware of her blessings that she is so non-chalant about them, but moreso that she is SO aware of her blessings and living in the total flow of gratitude each day and in all that she does. She puts Christ at the center of everything she does, so is it any wonder that she is so successful in life?

Now if I posed that to Stephanie she would like guffaw and only point out to all the millions of things she has on her to do list and that she wants to do. She would note that she hasn't yet developed the line of baby clothes that she intends to do, or built out the full book series of Iam the Lamb, but to mere mortals like you and I, we are sitting in amazement when we learn that she figured out how to design and get a wooden Advent calendar built in an overseas manufacturing plant and how to create a new brand on her own!

Stephanie says that all of this is possible through her faith. Starting with her marriage as the foundation of her family, she and husband, Ted, have been able to navigate the challenges of miscarriages, moves, and many moons spent working to rear their four children and keep them grounded. After her two girls, Stephanie found that being a boy mom was much easier. Perhaps it is because she instinctually knew--even before the doctor did-that she was carrying two sons and was internally communicating with them before anyone else. Her two sons have been a delight to raise and have developed their own faith and servant leader hearts as they've matured.

The twins are now seniors in high school and Stephanie has hopes that they will go off to college together and stay as close as they currently are, but she has confidence that no matter what they choose, they will do well. Her peace of mind that comes from being fully secure in pervades every aspect of her life. Maybe this is why her Iam the Lamb creation gives such a feeling of peace because it's just an extension of Stephanie. Her latest book focuses on Advent and Stephanie wants to help more Christians learn about--and practice--the time leading up to Christmas. The new book on Advent, aptly named "Iam the Lamb's ADVENTure: A Journey to the Heart of Christmas" allows you to step through the days preceding the 25th and learn about the symbols and their meaning. The beautifully crafted toys and plush Iam the Lamb are meant to be keepsakes--allowing the family to read them together year after year as part of a faith-filled tradition.
